Online CEU: Positive Behavior Support in Practice - Ethics in Action

Positive behavior support is a behavior analytic practice that includes elements that some might consider “fuzzy” or more subjective. However, it is in positive behavior support that behavior analysis truly finds it’s heart. The inclusion of goals that are important for our stakeholders and learners, applying the science in a contextually appropriate manner, and having the flexibility to alter our work to address the needs of our learners is one of the most ethical things we can do as behavior analysts. In this talk, Keri Moen and Shane Spiker focus on key elements of positive behavior support that make it the most ethical choice in behavior analytic work.
