Mrs. Tahra Cessna, BCABA, Clinical Director
Tahra Cessna is a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst has been working with children with special needs for almost 10 years. She specializes in working with non-verbal and limited verbal children on the autism spectrum with severe aggressive and self-injurious behaviors. Tahra completed her Bachelor of Arts in Education at Florida Atlantic University and gained her board certification through Florida Institute of Technology. Tahra worked as a general education teacher prior to gaining her Board Certification. In 2008 Tahra opened a center where she and her team provided behavioral analysis services to children on the autism spectrum. Tahra is also a co-founder and Behavioral Services Coordinator for the Treasure Coast Autism Project, a private, non-profit school for children on the autism spectrum. Tahra joined Positive Behavior Supports Corp in 2010 and is currently the Assistant Clinical Director where she helps to oversee the Insurance and Medicaid departments. Tahra lives in Palm City with her husband and 2 young sons.
