Shane Spiker hosted October’s online CEU event: “Fight For your Rights: Breaking Down the IEP Process” with Amanda Murzynski and Randa Rydzy on October 14, 2019. This event was approved by School Work Group, one of the work groups designed to help support and develop initiatives for school-based services within PBS Corp.
The event fostered a lively discussion with some great insight to the challenges many practitioners face with IEP standards and practices. Additionally, the presenters provided a concise breakdown of different processes related to the IEP process and how that can impact all involved parties. The training itself provided some great next steps and resources for team members to help advocate and navigate IEP processes.
